Our story begins in April 2002, in the reputable city of Brandon, Manitoba, where Debbie and Darcy Chorney enter a police station to report their 18-year-old daughter missing. It’s out of character for Erin Chorney to be gone this long without contacting a family member or friend, and police take action right away.
What ensues is a roller coaster of an investigation filled with twists, turns, and a plethora of covert operations.

The technique used was an elaborate and controversial one known as a Mr. Big sting operation. Sure, this technique is outlawed in other countries, but here in Canada we love utilizing this audacious tactic.
